BNP Paribas Sees Uptick for Its 2020 Targets

Feb.06 -- BNP Paribas sees an uptick for its 2020 targets, despite a challenging market environment in the second half of last year. Net income was 1.42 Billion euros in the fourth-quarter, with fixed income revenues (FICC unit) down 27.4%, while equity and prime services were up 12.1%. BNP Paribas will pay a dividend of 3.02 euros, equivalent to 50% of earnings as targeted. The bank's CFO Lars Machenil speaks with Bloomberg's Caroline Connan in Paris.
